• Step count & activity data — from device pedometer/sensors (ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION)
• Body sensor data — from supported health sensors (BODY_SENSORS)
• Usage data — app interactions stored locally for feature improvement

How We Use Data

• Display your step count, activity history, and health metrics
• Provide notifications and reminders
• Enable the home screen widget
• Improve app functionality and fix issues

Data Sharing

Nfit does not collect, share, or transmit any data to external servers, third parties, or analytics services. All data remains exclusively on your device.

Data Storage

All health and activity data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and AsyncStorage. We do not send your health data to external servers. Data export is available only if you choose to manually share a file.

Third-Party Services

Nfit does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, or external services of any kind. Your data never leaves your device.

Permissions

Nfit requests these Android permissions solely for the stated purpose:

• ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION — to count your steps
• BODY_SENSORS — to read health sensor data
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to send you reminders
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_HEALTH — to track steps in the background
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to resume tracking after device restart
• WAKE_LOCK / REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS — to maintain reliable background tracking

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data by clearing the app's storage in device settings or uninstalling the app. This removes all locally stored health and activity data.

Children's Privacy

Nfit is suitable for users of all age groups, including children under 5. We do not collect any personal information such as name, email, or location from any user regardless of age. All health and activity data stays strictly on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
